Use the current maintenance notice for your Rithmic System and provider. Weekend maintenance can affect access, but provider articles do not establish one permanent universal opening time. Exchange trading hours and Rithmic login availability are different questions. Preserve the error and verify the affected service before deciding that a login failure is routine maintenance.

Find the matching notice
- Check Rithmic System Advisories for dated notices.
- Check your broker or funding provider's official announcements.
- Identify the named System, component, start/end time and timezone.
- Compare those details with your recorded error and attempted connection.
- If the time or scope is unclear, ask the provider to confirm it rather than converting a guessed schedule into a trading plan.
Do not assume that a weekend rejection is caused by maintenance. Wrong credentials, expired access or a local connection issue can still require a different response.
What routine times does Rithmic currently describe?
In the official FAQ expanded on 7 October 2026, Rithmic describes approximate weekday maintenance of 5:20–5:45 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday, and weekend work from Friday night to around noon ET on Sunday. Treat these as routine guidance, not a guaranteed reopening time. A dated notice for the affected System can identify a different interruption.
Why a dated notice still matters
Elite Trader Funding's login article and Quantower's issues guide describe weekend access in their own help contexts. Their wording is not a substitute for a dated notice for your environment. Rithmic's advisories also identify particular Systems in notices.
If an article uses “CST,” do not silently treat it as the correct local offset throughout daylight-saving time. Preserve the original timezone wording, establish the intended offset with the issuer, and then convert the event time. A one-hour interpretation error can matter when planning access.
Keep three questions separate
| Question | Matching reference |
|---|---|
| Can the application log in? | Rithmic/provider service notice and connection result |
| Is this contract trading? | Exchange schedule for the exact product and date |
| Must this account be flat by a firm deadline? | Current provider rules for the account stage |
An exchange reopening does not establish that every Rithmic service or provider account is ready. A firm deadline may also differ from the exchange session. Do not use a maintenance article to set a liquidation time or change account risk controls.
Prepare useful evidence
Before a planned interruption, record the connection route and how any active order management depends on local software. If orders or positions may exist, use the provider's supported procedure to establish account state. A disconnected display is not a cancellation record.
After service returns, check the intended account, service indicators, current contract data and working orders. Review earlier submissions before sending replacements. The reconnect checklist gives a sequence for this task.
No outage was induced and no maintenance recovery was tested for this article. A checklist and source comparison are more informative here than an unrelated homepage or invented error screenshot.
For a version-related issue, review Rithmic update and release changes separately from a service-maintenance notice.
Common questions
Is Rithmic always unavailable for the whole weekend?
No universal period is established here. Match a current notice to the specific System and service.
Does Sunday exchange reopening guarantee I can log in?
No. Exchange trading hours and application access are separate. Check both when planning your session.
Should I reset my password during maintenance?
First verify that the maintenance notice actually matches the failure. A timeout alone does not establish a password problem.
Can I leave automation running through maintenance?
Check the route's documented behavior for missed signals, retries and unavailable connections, along with the account rules. This guide makes no guarantee about a particular automation service.
