Automate Your Trading Strategy With No Code and No VPS
A no-code trading bot lets you run your strategy automatically without writing a single line of integration code. With PickMyTrade, you build and backtest your strategy in TradingView, then PickMyTrade executes it on your broker for you. There is no Pine Script to learn for the connection, no server to rent, and no desktop app to install. You create a TradingView alert, paste in a message PickMyTrade generates, pick your broker and size, and go live.
No credit card required. Setup takes under 10 minutes.
What a no-code trading bot means with PickMyTrade
A no-code trading bot is automation you set up by pointing and clicking, not by programming. With PickMyTrade, the "bot" is the connection between the alerts you already use in TradingView and the orders that hit your broker. You never touch an API, you never write a script, and you never wire up a WebAPI setup by hand. You build and backtest your strategy in TradingView, and PickMyTrade automates it. That is the whole idea behind automated trading with no code: keep your strategy where it lives, and let a proven pipe handle execution.
This matters because most traders are not developers. You may have a strategy that works, an indicator you trust, or signals you follow, but turning those into live orders usually means learning to code against a broker API, or paying someone who can. A no-code trading bot removes that step. If you can create an alert in TradingView, you can put on code-free order automation across your accounts.
What PickMyTrade is, and what it is not
PickMyTrade is the no-code execution layer between TradingView and your broker. It is honest about its lane, and that is a feature:
- It is a way to connect TradingView to 10 brokers with zero coding, plain-text alerts and cloud execution.
- It is not a visual strategy builder, an AI that writes strategies for you, or a backtester. You do that part in TradingView.
- It is not a paid signal service. It runs your own strategies and alerts, so you always decide what trades.
The division of labor is the point: TradingView decides when to trade, and PickMyTrade handles how the order reaches your account. You get to backtest in TradingView and automate with PickMyTrade, so nothing about going live means giving up the testing tools you already rely on.
What you need, and what you do not need
A no-code trading bot should have a short shopping list. Here is the honest version.
What you need
- A TradingView account that can send webhook alerts (Pro, Pro+ or Premium). Free TradingView accounts cannot send webhooks.
- A PickMyTrade account.
- A supported broker account, live or demo (or a prop-firm evaluation).
- A strategy, indicator or alert in TradingView that fires when you want to trade.
What you do not need
- No Pine Script or any programming to connect the two platforms.
- No VPS or rented server running in the background.
- No desktop app to install and babysit.
- No hand-written JSON or API keys to format. PickMyTrade generates the alert message for you.
How to automate your trading strategy without coding
Four steps, no code, from zero to a live no-code trading bot. Most traders finish in under ten minutes.
- 1
Connect your broker to PickMyTrade
Create a PickMyTrade account and connect your broker, whether live, demo or a prop-firm evaluation. There is no API script to write and no code to paste. You are just linking your account.
Connecting a broker account in the PickMyTrade no-code dashboard - 2
Set your broker account, quantity and risk
Choose the account to trade, set your position size by fixed quantity or risk percentage, and add any stop-loss and take-profit. This is one-click strategy automation set up from a dashboard, not a config file.
Setting quantity and risk for no-code order automation in PickMyTrade - 3
Create a TradingView alert and paste the message
In PickMyTrade, generate the alert message and webhook URL for your buy and sell signals. Then in TradingView, create an alert on your strategy or indicator, delete the default text, paste the PickMyTrade message, and set the webhook URL in the notifications tab. Webhook alerts need a paid TradingView plan (Pro, Pro+ or Premium).
Pasting the PickMyTrade alert message and webhook URL into a TradingView alert - 4
Test once, then go live
Fire a test alert, confirm the fill in your PickMyTrade alert log and in your broker, then enable the alert. From now on, each alert executes on your broker automatically in the cloud, even when your computer is off.

No VPS required: why cloud execution beats a rented server
Plenty of trading bots ask you to keep software running around the clock. That usually means renting a VPS, a virtual private server that stays online so your bot never sleeps. It is one more bill, one more thing to update, and one more point of failure. If the server goes down while you are away, your automation goes down with it.
A no-VPS trading bot removes that whole layer. PickMyTrade runs in the cloud, so your automation lives on hosted infrastructure that is always on. You do not rent a server, you do not install a desktop app, and you do not leave your own machine running overnight. Once your broker is connected and your alert is live, trades execute even with your laptop closed and your broker app shut. This is a genuine difference from the older download-and-run copiers and bots.
To be clear about what cloud-hosted means: PickMyTrade manages the infrastructure for you, so this is not a self-hosted tool you run on your own hardware. That is the trade you are making on purpose. You skip the server admin, and in return PickMyTrade keeps the pipe online. On the speed question, PickMyTrade processes your order in under 200ms on our side. Your total fill time also depends on your broker's execution, network latency and how quickly TradingView sends the alert, as it does with any webhook automation.
Plain alert messages, not code you have to write
One reason "no-code" often turns out to be code in disguise is the alert message. Some tools make you hand-write and format a block of JSON, get every bracket and comma right, and keep it in sync when you change anything. That is coding, just in a smaller box.
PickMyTrade generates the alert message for you. You set your account, symbol, side and size in the dashboard, and PickMyTrade produces a short, ready-to-paste message plus the webhook URL. You copy it, paste it into your TradingView alert, and you are done. A buy or sell signal is readable at a glance and names the essentials, along the lines of the symbol, the action and the quantity:
symbol = MNQ
action = buy
quantity = 1 Example only. PickMyTrade builds the exact message for your setup, so you copy and paste rather than write it.
If you happen to prefer JSON, or you are wiring up a more advanced setup, PickMyTrade can work with it, but JSON is optional, not required. For most traders the generated message is all you ever touch, which is what makes this genuine code-free order automation rather than coding with extra steps.
Supported brokers and prop firms for no-code automation
One no-code setup, many brokers. PickMyTrade automates 10 brokers from the same TradingView webhook engine. Tradovate lives on pickmytrade.trade; the rest are here on pickmytrade.io.
Using a funded or prop-firm account?
PickMyTrade connects to accounts on Tradovate, Rithmic and ProjectX, which many prop firms run on, including firms like Apex, Topstep, Alpha Futures, Take Profit Trader, FundedNext Futures, MyFundedFutures, TradeDay and Tradeify. Because you connect your own accounts, you stay in control of your automation. Copy trading and automation rules vary by prop firm and change over time, so always confirm your firm's current policy before you go live.
No-code trading bot vs coding your own
Coding your own bot gives you total control and total responsibility. A no-code trading bot trades some of that flexibility for speed and simplicity. Here is the honest comparison.
| Aspect | Coding your own bot | No-code with PickMyTrade |
|---|---|---|
| Skills needed | Programming plus broker API knowledge | Create a TradingView alert. That is it. |
| Building the strategy | You code it yourself | You build it in TradingView. PickMyTrade does not build strategies for you. |
| Backtesting | Write your own test harness | Use TradingView's built-in Strategy Tester. PickMyTrade is not a backtester. |
| Where it runs | Your own server or a rented VPS | PickMyTrade cloud. No VPS, no install. |
| Maintenance | You patch broker API changes and outages | PickMyTrade maintains the broker integrations |
| Time to launch | Days to weeks, plus debugging | Usually under 10 minutes |
| Cost | Dev time plus server bills | $50/mo flat, 7-day free trial |
Notice what the no-code path does not take away: your strategy and your testing stay in TradingView, where you already work. You backtest in TradingView and automate with PickMyTrade, so going no-code does not mean going blind. If you are a developer who wants to keep coding your own logic, that is welcome too. See the strategy developers page for the coder-friendly side of the same engine.

No-code trading bot FAQ
Straight answers to what traders ask before automating without code.
Yes. With PickMyTrade you never write integration code. You build and backtest your strategy in TradingView, create a normal TradingView alert, then paste in a short message that PickMyTrade generates for you and set your broker and quantity. When the alert fires, PickMyTrade places the order on your broker automatically. If you can set up a TradingView alert, you can run a no-code trading bot.
No. PickMyTrade runs in the cloud, so there is no VPS to rent and no desktop app to keep open. Once your broker is connected and your alert is live, trades execute even when your computer is switched off. This is different from download-and-run bots that need a machine or a rented server online 24/7.
No. You do not need Pine Script to connect TradingView to your broker through PickMyTrade. You can automate any TradingView strategy, indicator or manual chart alert that can fire an alert, including strategies you bought or found. Pine Script is only relevant if you choose to build your own custom indicator in TradingView, and even then PickMyTrade handles execution, not coding.
No. PickMyTrade is the execution layer, not a strategy builder. It does not generate strategies, it is not an AI that writes code, and it is not a backtester. You design and backtest your strategy in TradingView using its built-in tools, and PickMyTrade turns the resulting alerts into real orders on your broker. TradingView decides when to trade; PickMyTrade handles how the order reaches your account.
No. PickMyTrade generates a ready-to-paste alert message for your buy and sell signals, so you copy and paste rather than hand-write JSON. The message is short and readable and names your symbol, side and size. If you prefer to work with JSON you can, but it is optional, not required.
PickMyTrade automates 10 brokers with no code: Tradovate, Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, ProjectX, Match-Trader, Tradier, cTrader and Ironbeam. PickMyTrade also connects to accounts on Tradovate, Rithmic and ProjectX, which many prop firms run on, such as Apex, Topstep, Alpha Futures, Take Profit Trader, FundedNext Futures, MyFundedFutures, TradeDay and Tradeify. Copy trading and automation rules vary by prop firm and change over time, so always confirm your firm's current policy before you go live.
