High-Volume Futures on Rithmic: September 2026 Reference

Quick answer

Exchange volume helps compare futures activity, but there is no verified public ranking here of Rithmic users’ trades. CME’s September 2026 report shows substantial activity in rates and equity indexes. Compare dated contract volume, spread and depth during your intended session before selecting an instrument.

Compare what matters at the moment you trade

Check the intended dated contract's current session volume, bid/ask spread, visible depth and quote age. A high monthly product ADV does not guarantee that a distant expiry has the same liquidity. Rollover can move activity between months.

Compare dollar exposure as well as contract counts. A micro contract and its E-mini counterpart represent different notionals, so raw volume alone cannot rank their economic size. A tight displayed spread is also not a promise that your order size fills at that price.

Build a practical watchlist

Choose products permitted by the provider, confirm exchange subscriptions and resolve actual symbols in the platform. Check tick value, hours and expiry before comparing setups. Keep screenshots dated: an ES quote row from one instant cannot prove a permanent one-tick spread or superior execution.

For alert automation, verify that the receiving service supports the selected instrument and exact mapping. Platform data availability, Rithmic account permission and bridge support are separate checks.

Common questions

Is ES always the most traded future?

No. Rankings depend on product set, period and metric; rates products can have higher contract volume.

Does high volume ensure profitable trading?

No. It does not establish strategy performance or suitability.

Why compare expiries separately?

Product totals can conceal a thin distant contract or a rollover shift.

Is this a Rithmic market-share report?

No. These are CME product statistics.
