  • TWS or IB Gateway running and logged in, either on your own machine or a VPS, or through PickMyTrade's cloud connection.
  • API access enabled in TWS or IB Gateway (File > Global Configuration > API > Settings), with the correct socket port (7497 paper / 7496 live in TWS) and a trusted IP.
  • The right IBKR market data subscriptions and trading permissions for the assets and exchanges you want to trade.
  • An Interactive Brokers account, paper or live. Test on paper first.
